Qualifications:
BA Hons Integrated Working with Children and Families
Pikler Trained
Paediatric First Aid

I have worked in childcare for 15 years and have studied the Pikler Approach. This approach has taught me the importance of working in partnership with children as they grow. I strongly believe when a child has the right tools for their emotional, social and physical development, they become confident, independent learners which ignites their curiosity. I feel this supports children to blossom into successful and happy adults. The outdoors is important to me as it plays a key role in developing children who are physically active, healthy and developing resilience for challenges in life.

Qualifications:
Studying for a degree in Early Childhood Education & Care
Level One Makaton
Paediatric First Aid

I have a huge passion for Early Years Education and firmly believe the first two-thousand days of life are the most important in forming who we become. My biggest interests lie in young children’s emotional wellbeing, the power of sharing books and the benefits of being outdoors. Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is truly magical and I feel privileged to play a tiny part in helping the next generation grow.

Job title: Preschool Deputy Leader

Qualifications:
In the final year of a degree in Early Childhood Education & Care
Paediatric First Aid

I have worked with children for four years and strive to be a positive male role model. I completed a teaching assistant level 3 apprenticeship at a local Infant School and became interested in how children develop their own personalities and how environments and adults caring for children impact their development emotionally, socially and intellectually. When I began working at Space For Play I observed how the natural environment provoked independent play and well-being. I then enrolled for my early years degree and have gained deeper knowledge.
